The Royal Vauxhall Tavern is an essential part of London’s LGBTQ+ culture and history. It’s a symbol of the queer struggle over the decades.  It survived the years of criminalisation and oppression… but in 2020 it faced the one thing that could finally kill it off. COVID. 

My team partner and I started an appeal driven by a social media campaign for this iconic cabaret, performance and nightclub venue. This campaign helped raise £50,000 in less than a month, helping it survive the pandemic.
